Mississippi Mud is two musical plays in one. All stories take place on the banks of the great Mississippi River.  Tales from Mark Twain, and a melodrama on the riverboat.

A few reminders:

• Please make sure your child has a pair of shoes that stay on their feet and are suitable for dancing and movement. We suggest jazz dance shoes, which are smooth soled and light weight. Payless Shoes carries them, or they can be purchased online at sites such as Discount Dance Supply.
• Please remember to send a bag lunch and a water bottle to rehearsal each day. A duffel bag or container of some kind is helpful for keeping personal items together.
• We ask that all cell phones and electronic devices be turned off and left in a safe place (not carried in a pocket) during rehearsal. Actors may check their phones at lunchtime.
• Consider labeling everything your child brings to Showstoppers! Our Lost and Found overflows after each session!
• We want your child to be safe and happy. Please let us know your carpool arrangements, and tell us who may pick up your child. We ask that they stay with us until their ride arrives, and that they check out ( or say good-bye to the adult in charge) so that we know they are safe.
